After the implementation of an Ecommerce system for use by a local manufacturer's distributors there was a requirement for real-time access to order status. Additionally Business Intelligence reports had been only available on data from the previous day.
FLCC implemented DataMirror to copy Files from the AS400 into the Sybase tables in real-time as well as shipping information connections to shippers systems. This allowed our customers to monitor their orders and track shipments as soon as the data was available. The Business Intelligence users also benefited from up to the minute reports for manufacturing, inventories and finances allowing the business to move more agile.
