Implementation of internationally used applications and all corporate web sites though a local data center increased the availability requirements to the internet. While capacity had been increased there was a problem with the Internet architecture which needed to be addressed. With FLCC moving from a Single Firewall to a Highly Available Internet Security Zone became a reality. A simplified architecture has allowed high security and ease of use for the IT Team. Consolidated rules and redundancy of services are now allowing the IT Staff meet its SLA with customers.
